Phil Roe is a Senior Advisor and member of the Investment Committee. He served as CEO of Martin Ventures from 2015 until 2018. Phil joined Martin Ventures after having served as Senior Vice President of Finance for Tenet Healthcare where his primary responsibility was for the Health Plans. Before Tenet, Phil served in a number of leadership roles at Vanguard Health Systems since the company’s inception in 1997. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer a position he had held since 2007. Prior to that role, he served as its Chief Accounting Officer. Before joining Vanguard, Phil was the Controller and Chief Accounting Officer for OrNda Healthcorp. Phil started his career with Ernst & Young where he was a Senior Manager before joining OrNda. Phil currently sits on the boards of TeamHealth, Wellvana, and Ludi and previously served on the board of Change Healthcare.
