Dr. Montoney is a Senior Advisor and member of the Investment Committee, providing clinical support to Martin Ventures portfolio companies including Wellvana Health (Chief Medical Officer) and Reimagine Care (Medical Advisor). Mark previously served as the Chief Medical Officer of Contessa Health, leading clinical operations in an innovative home recovery care company that was acquired by Amedisys in 2021. Prior to Contessa Health, he was the Chief Medical Officer of Tenet Healthcare where he led a network of regional physician executives, collaborating with nursing leadership in advancing clinical quality performance and patient care. Dr. Montoney joined Tenet through its acquisition of Vanguard Health Systems where he served as Chief Medical Officer, responsible for clinical quality, patient safety, physician alignment strategies, and value-based care. Originally from Columbus, Ohio Mark began his career in the practice of internal medicine and geriatrics, where he also served as the Chief Medical Officer of the OhioHealth System.
